Yet some things like eating and drinking out are remarkably more affordable and to a certain degree, to a higher standard. Looking around the supermarkets too, almost everything works out costing less than UK averages, and that’s even with today’s low pound!

Sat on the edges of a nature reserve, Querfurt is perhaps best known for its castle, attracting year-round visitors from far and wide. Also keeping the town bustling are several annual historic events and various festivals. Overall a league above your German town, and not your boring stereotype German setting. Just wait till you check out the nightlife for starters. Remember this is all five minutes from your former school / mansion to be.

There’s loads more in town to check out, which you can soon explore at your leisure! There’s a monastery, museum, historic squares, art exhibits, markets with local fresh produce and every town amenity you could ever wish for. All combined, making Querfurt a pleasant, lively and prosperous town.

The Autobahn is just another 10 min up the road, and Leipzig airport is just one hour away too, offering countless low-cost flights to the UK and elsewhere.

Even closer to home there’s a supermarket, literally 1 min stroll from your mansion! So, you truly have everything you need here. All town amenities are in place and access to / from the airport is a doddle.
