As you step in the front door you'll notice how spacious the entrance hall is. There is a big bedroom straight ahead with WC. Turn Left and into the huge room.

The huge room has stalls in it. Possibly livestock were kept there, perhaps they were seating stalls. The timber is solid, probably oak. This is a very big room, suitable for a variety of uses, or split into two to make a lounge and diner or similar.

A grand staircase that would be very more at home in a castle takes you up to the 1st floor.

On the 1st floor you'll find a small room and 2 bedrooms as well as a kitchen. On the same floor you'll find a large lounge leading out to the balcony. The balcony is well built and is finished in attractive ornate railings.

From the balcony the views are brilliant. Miles of deep forest huddle around this side of the village, just down the hill is a river, teaming with fish, the mountains around are unspoiled.

On the top floor is another lounge area and another bedroom, bringing the bedroom count to 4.

The building appears solid. We suggest that this property is appropriate for full time living or spiff it up a bit and rent it out as a holiday home, it’s in such great condition that minimal work is required. Expect to take in around 70-80 EUR/night to let the property as a holiday home, 350EUR/week if you rent it on a weekly basis. Long term rental would be ideal.

In summer the area is very popular with tourists.

Start your tour of Chemnitz with a trip to the Karl Marx statue. This imposing statue is perfect for selfies. The museum of Saxony Industry will take up most of the day. Go shopping in the market hall or muse around the castle, this really is a city for all.
